We go to a maid café with Alex and Relictae feels uncomfortable. We learn that all of this boring stuff we've been sitting through had a deeper purpose...which wasn't fulfilled.

The purpose of an introduction is to give pertinent information, entice someone to keep reading/playing, and promote a basic goal. This game succeed in providing some important information and providing a basic goal -- saving Claire -- but fell short of being enticing due to the lack of engagement, the poor writing, and the scatter-brained dialogue. Things didn't flow properly, and in an introduction -- arguably the most important portion of either a writing or video game -- that is a major flaw. The writing should have clearly explained what it need to explain in a short, curt manner. The actual wording should have been far better than it was, with Ryou's inner narrative not simply restating what is said between the characters. Overall, the introduction of the game was a flop, explaining itself in a elongated fashion with a poor textual experience.
