What an incredibly well made and extremely solid expansion. Roughly half the length of the main campaign with all the great action distilled in a way that makes it extremely fun and satisfying to play. Sure it had some performance naffness, a bug or two and a rubbish looking area or two but it excels where it matters the most and is a quality expansion thanks to that. I just wish I could get my settings and audio down perfectly from the start of a playthrough but that just never seems to be the case so that's one frustration on my end. Next up is the second expansion: Perseus Mandate and then that will wrap up the original FEAR for good until I decide to record FEAR 2 and 3 which won't be for a good while.

With Project Origin opened and Alma released, the city falls into a nightmarish domain of her own making. Replica stalk the streets, ghouls and ghosts haunt every corner and her rage knows no bounds. The Pointman is thrust into an even more hellish experience than before, his only goal: to survive and extract. Only his mother doesn’t want him to.
