This... is a odd duck of a game for sure.

I did this playthrough mainly for two reasons, I wanted to see the game for what it is as a remaster, as well to make me finish a game I never got to finish playing years ago (Dawn of souls on GBA)

I was 100% unaware of the boost mechanics in these games till pretty much after the playthrough was nearing completion.
