I remember this part of the game so much, because fun fact, I actually learned the Kefka at Narshe speedrun a few years back, so I got very familiar with how much Banon can screw things up by just croaking if you forget to guard him against Ultros.
But after Sabin's scenario, I do adore this game pretty much till the end, it was such a slog back in the day, but thankfully this version has run button. Sabin and his storyline can be really hard to do first, I like to leave it to the third so I can buy things for the war, but for the sake of a more episodic length of these videos I figured the raft segment and Sabin would be a good chunk to do. Judging by how much I did in the next part, well, I'm glad I did it this way for sure.
Though, I am very shocked that the waterfall boss went well, I normally die there a few times, but I also am a much higher level than I was initially going through this game to keep my levels low till I get Espers. But with Sabin done, Locke and Terras scenerios are next, and those are easier than this one though.
