So I get everyone to level 35 and during the process, I used Rale's Invitation ability to recruit monsters and use them to lay eggs until I get third tier monsters. Then Vine slaughters them all for rare items using Secret Hunt.

Taiju (the third tier tree people) have a rare chance of giving Defender which is a Knight Sword. Knight Swords have high attack power and their damage is adjusted by the characters Brave stat.

Plague (third tier eyebats) provide Zorlin Shapes which are the strongest daggers in the game and have a chance of causing Sleep.

Red Chocobos provide Barettes.

Besides that...

Ramza is now using HP Restore for now along with Move +2.

Rale is using Sing instead of Talk Skill and has Move +3.

Sing is a Bard ability where you constantly charge a song that will activate over and over again until you cancel it. Songs range from restoring HP/MP, increasing stats, giving buffs, or setting CT to 100. Let a Bard sing for awhile and it is very easy to get a huge advantage (especially with the Speed song). Bards get the better of the move abilities compared to Dancers, getting Move +3 while Dancers are stuck with the ever useless Jump +3.
