We take care of all the battles in the mines. For this version of the game, this is a good opportunity to pick up some rare monsters to breed even rarer monsters to use Secret Hunt on. Also, the battle against the chemists is one of the few opportunities to pick up a Blaze Gun which is a gun that shoots magic.

Beowulf is a sort of magic knight where he has a alot of ranged status effect abilities that are instant cast but cost MP. He also has a move that does -30 Brave. Pretty great character in most battles unless they are immune to status and Brave effects.

Reis is just a Holy Dragon who is pretty tanky and has access to all three of the standard breath attacks. She will change later in this optional questline.
