Just showing off an interesting Arena encounter. Arena encounters are random battles against two factions of npcs, essentially turning the battle into a three way free for all. All the npcs are considered guests so they cannot give crystals or chest. They all also have Maintenance so you cannot steal any gear they have (pretty decent gear at that).

This Arena battle was neat as it introduced one of the added classes from the patch, the Onion Knight. The Onion Knights main gimmick is the ability to equip any items they want. This makes them rather flexible in what sort of role you want to play as. The only disadvantage is this ability to equip anything takes their primary ability slot, limiting them to using their secondary to activate moves and spells. All Onion Knights have Two Swords, Two Hands, Maintenance, and Concentrate as their innate abilities.
