We get more plot flashback junk then finally get to test out our party... sort of.

Guests in this game are very annoying. They are uncontrolled characters that do whatever they want in battle. Furthermore, if you have guests, you will be limited to four party members rather than five in most battles. You can manipulate a Guest's gear, abilities, and job class if you want but Guests are always temporary.

Tonberries are a monster known in most of the Final Fantasy games. The content patch added them into Tactics and they are just as dangerous as in the original games.

Oh and I also show the jump in difficulty with random battles when approaching from certain directions.
