This is my debut episode of a Perfect Game Let's Play of Final Fantasy VI. I chose the GBA version because it's the only version where perfection is achievable. I lay out the ground rules within the first 6 minutes of the video, but the conditions are as follows:

1. Must obtain everything--characters, items, treasures, bestiary, espers, the works.
2. Must complete all sidequests.
3. Everything at maximum capacity.
4. All Battle Formations on the Veldt.
5. All stats maxed out (only possible in the GBA version).

If I skip out on items, Bestiary entries, or Battle Formations, then I'll come back for them at my own personal convenience.

Anyways, I've had a pretty fantastic run so far. Took me quite a few tries to reach the second save point without a single encounter. And it only took a couple tries to reach Locke without any encounters there, either. The first one is extremely lucky on my end, while the second was simply convenient.

Had I gotten encounters, only a couple of them would have been acceptable: Wererat x3 is sandwiched between two formations in Group 2 that are mandatory to acquire, yet offer nothing unique in terms of Rages. The same goes for Bandit, Spritzer, but for Group 4.

Wererat x3 would have best been acquired heading into the first save point, but since I never encountered them, I never went for them.

Bandit, Spritzer, on the other hand, could have been encountered in the Frozen Esper chamber or in the room leading up to the second save point. Once again, because I drew an extremely lucky RNG step count that allowed me to get there with no problems (like, the chances of that are 1/255 lucky).

Sandwiched in between the Save Points, I utilized a technique called Save Buffering, which resets the Step Counter resetting immediately after saving the game. Expect to see plenty of this technique in action, especially in the early game.

Having said all that, I hope you enjoy my big debut.
