In this intense 5-hour finale, we follow Jenova's blood trail to the president's office, battle our way out of Shinra, and race down the highway trying to escape! Despite a few game crashes, we ultimately confront Destiny and the infamous Sephiroth in Chapter 18.
While the game offers an incredible journey the storytelling in this final chapter leaves something to be desired, with Tetsuya Nomura's fixation on Cloud's identity, fate, and destiny overshadowing the original's narrative. It really ruins a solid remake and beautiful expansion of the world of Midgard. However, the overall experience remains enjoyable and engaging... just ignore Nomura's fetishes of fate/destiny and you'll have a wonderful time!
As we wrap up the main game, get ready for a new adventure as we dive into Yuffie's story in FFVII Remake: INTERGRADE ReModed!
