Today, we are tossing an hour of play time on one of the most beloved games of all time, Final Fantasy VII. I am playing the Steam version of the game for this video, which overall had very small differences from the Playstation (PSX) version, especially on Jessie's mouth (what's the fork is that mouth??).

I can't tell you how much nostalgia and feelings I have for this game: it is basically the first RPG that I finished (being the only one translated to French at the time) and I have such a huge amount of respect for its universe, its story, its music, its style... Everything for this game looked so special when it came out in 1997, it was nearly revolutionary for the time (I mean even 3 CDs for a game!). I still feel the game looks good for today's era (although I bet lots of you would disagree on that) and I can't wait to compare the 2020 Remake to the original game.

Squaresoft at the time really did an amazing work of delivering one of the most memorable from the PSX era, and thanks to this, we got treated with much more RPGs on the platform.
Hironobu Sakaguchi, Nobuo Uematsu, Tetsuya Nomura, Yoshinori Kitase, Kazushige Nojima and the rest of the staff did such a memorable game with Final Fantasy VII that I would like to deeply thank them from the bottom of my heart for getting us this gem out. Long live Final Fantasy!
