Let's Play Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn PT133 - Duel in The Dunes
Subtitled: Rolf Knight
Subtitled: Sanaki Has a Sister?
Subtitled: Mr. Desert
In this episode, Sothe inquires about Yune's appearance with Micaiah when suddenly, the DoO appear! With them this time is...Lekain!
Lekain rambles on to Sanaki about the circumstances of her falsehood apostle status letting on that she actually has an elder sister! She was reported to have been killed with Misaha during the Serenes Massacre, but do you believe that? Do you?
Time to silence this cawing crow!
What better way to piss me off with a Rout mission than to add a terrain limitation like a desert? That's exact;y what this map is! There are a LOT of enemies here, most of them more threatening than the last encounter with the Silver Army. Reinforcements will appear en masse and do nothing but piss you off. Fortunately, the enemy does not take advantage of the terrain most of the time. Lekain appears as a boss, but will leave after a few turns. The real boss here is Numida, whom you may remember as Jarod's source of income in Part I. Marginally weaker than Valtome, but he has a Purge tome, meaning bad news for low Res units.
Hopefully you have an influx of fliers and magic users to exploit for this map. Be ready for an early assault from Elsleep and Elsilence staff use, since they encompass the whole map. Stay to a group; splitting up isn't very wise here unless you're positive each team can sustain themselves. You can really use the terrain to your benefit if you think a little; just be prepared for a LONG map.
Once again, there's a ton of hidden goodies to find on this map. Sothe has extended usefulness as a treasure hunter today!
Here's a map for your perusal(look for Chapter 3):

Consider getting the Dragonfoe scroll and the White Gem, definitely gun for the Baselard(the SS Rank knife), the Laguz Gem, and...
...our favorite green-haired hermit swordsman, Mr. Desert: Stefan! You need to stand on X 21, Y 14 with Micaiah(or Mordecai/Lethe with clear data from PoR) to get him.
Stefan, the Branded master swordsman of the Grann Desert, pops in as a Lv. 8 Trueblade with epic bases, kickass growths, and his trademark Vague Katti! He's an extremely solid sword user right from the moment you get him. Odds are that you probably already have a Trueblade you're consistently using by this point, but if you don't, Stefan is DEFINITELY a strong contender to use in the long run. He's manly and epic.
