0Chapter 26: Battle Before Dawn. Part 1. Eliwood and company have retrieved the Fire Emblem. Now they must rescue Prince Zephiel from being assassinated by the Black Fang,or it'll be useless. To unlock the next Gaiden chapter,you have to talk to Nino to recruit her with Eliwood,have her talk to Jaffar,and both characters must survive the chapter. Depending on your luck Jaffar might end up killed before you even have a chance to get to him,just keep restarting until he lives. He does have Elixirs and usually does ok for a few turns,but with only a Killing Edge and Ursula after him he won't last forever.I like to split my army in half and have 1 team go west while the other goes east,with at least 1 Thief on each team. You'll need them to open doors,plus to help see through the Fog of War. Try to make each party balanced with at least 1 healer on each side and such. Eliwood should be taking the east side so he can talk to Nino.
