This is the beginning of the age of the "cursed ring", wherein it is said mortals would keen and lament as they put on the amazing ring of physical damage, only to have it fall out of inventory and out of equipment when Eric dropped it.

ForgeQuest is an Action RPG which emphasizes forging equipment into other equipment and making better runes. There are skill trees and you can become quite powerful, but it's not too easy nor too challenging I would say. The plot doesn't take itself too seriously and is meant to be more comedy than any sort of drama.
