Welcome back to Gabriel Knight Sins of the Fathers. In the last episode Gabriel was trying to figure out how to steal Mosely's badge. In this episode I fool with the thermostat again and this time when I walk in to his office Mosely starts complaining about the heat and takes his jacket off this is important because his badge is in the pocket. Gabriel also manages to snag a copy of patterns that were found at previous voodoo murder crime scenes. Gabriel also realizing he forgot something very important in his grandma's attic goes to see his grandma again and snags his granddad's sketch book and when he opens the sketch book he sees very familiar images the stuff that Gabriel has been dreaming about. Reading the note that was inside the clock tells Gabriel about someone named Heinz Ritter and also mentions something called a schattenjager whatever that is. Gabriel goes to talk to his grandma again and mentions Heinz Ritter she says Heinz Ritter was what his granddad was called before he came to America he changed it to Harrison Knight when he arrived. That means Gabriel Knight's real last name is Ritter and also means he was originally German. Gabriel should now be wondering if the person who called him from Germany is part of his family. Gabriel also heads to the Voodoo Museum and learns almost everything he wants to know about Voodoo from the proprietor Dr. John. Dr. John's voice should sound familiar to anyone who has seen Star Trek : The Next Generation. He is voiced by Michael Dorn. Dr. John tells Gabriel that if he wants to know anything else about Voodoo to visit a local Voodooienne by the name of Magentia Moonbeam he gives Gabriel her address. However the most interesting place that Gabriel visits in this episode is the Dixieland Drug Store. Namely because the shopkeeper when Gabriel mentions the Voodoo Murders the dude responds with Cabrit Sans Cor. then when Gabriel confronts him about that acts like he didn't say anything. Hmm I think this guy knows more than he is saying. In the next part Gabriel will most likely head to Malia Gedde's estate and try to get in to see her with Mosely's stolen badge.
