4In this part we head to the Realm Travel Room and warp to Jotunheim. Wait, what!? No interruptions? No inconveniences!? For real this time!? I'm...so relieved!
With Jotunheim at our feet all that's left to do is head to the peak and spread those ashes! Hopefully with no eye-opening revelations on the way! To the Summit!

FINALLY DONE. By the gods, that was a long journey! I wasn't joking when I said you could easily marathon the original trilogy in the time it takes just to complete this game! Talk about bang for your buck!
Speaking of, how does this fare as a new direction for the series? Pretty damn outstanding, honestly. I didn't go into this game with the highest of expectations, but it truly does feel like a worthy addition to the series, and a huge breath of fresh air after the 6 games we had preceding this.
The combat and RPG elements aren't the best in the business, but it remains satisfying throughout the journey, even if the boss fights are a bit of a let-down. Although...I suppose it would be hard to top the third game in that regard!
The real treat comes from the story, especially the way its presented. Kratos' return is stellar, thanks in part to the excellent performances, unbelievably satisfying callbacks (THE BLAAAADES), and a musical score that elevates pretty much every moment. I really hope they stick with the "one-shot" camera they used for the entire duration of the game, because it really does immerse you more in what's going on, not just in cutscenes but gameplay as well!
Santa Monica really did an outstanding job with their PS4 debut, and I really can't wait to see the next installment in the series...featuring Kratos wielding Mjolnir...and probably shoving it down Thor's throat too. Mark my words, this will happen!
