07:35 - 11:20 - I wander around, looking for the missing adversary...
[NEW MOD CONTENT] 11:20 - 18:35 - I finally resign to trying some debug mode "magic" to fix the broken quest beginning, because the Chromanin Riddle is one of the best quests from the original Gothic. Sadly, it was changed for the worse in the mod, in my opinion at least. I talk a little longer about the quest and my thoughts
[NEW MOD CONTENT] 18:35 - 22:10 - I finally enter the Smuggler's Camp and talk with Korth, the guard at the gate, earning his trust because of the things I did earlier
[NEW MOD CONTENT] 22:10 - 23:22 - I meet the camp's pet, and talk a little about his poorly translated name
[NEW MOD CONTENT] 23:22 - 24:53 - I talk with Monk, another Smuggler, and get a mission from him to recover some ore
[NEW MOD CONTENT] 24:53 - 25:57 - I explore the camp a little, fishing for some pearls
[NEW MOD CONTENT] 25:57 - 28:14 - I talk with Anghar, the Camp's smith, and he gives me a taksk to get him some steel
[NEW MOD CONTENT] 28:14 - 38:50 - I have a very lengthy talk with the Smuggler Quartermaster, Servin. He talks at length about their backstory, which ties somewhat to other games in the Gothic series
[NEW MOD CONTENT] 38:50 - 47:02 - I trade with Servin the quartermaster for a bit, and then we talk some more. I get some fetch quests from him
[NEW MOD CONTENT] 47:02 - 49:00 - I get the token of appreciation from Korth, the guard at the gate, and then leave the camp
[NEW MOD CONTENT] 49:00 - 51:32 - I showcase a secret location near the Smuggler's Camp and gain a VERY powerful weapon in return

Dark Mysteries are a mod expansion for Gothic 1 in the same vein the Night of the Raven is an expansion for Gothic 2 – the mod does not work as a standalone, nor does it replace the original storyline. Instead, it adds and expands UPON the original base, and it’s storyline is intertwined with the vanilla storyline, requiring you to do both and linking both in various ways.

It adds maybe even a hundred new quests, dozens of new characters and thousands of new lines of dialogue. Among it’s most impressive features are the five new camps that you can join.
