This is a comprehensive playthrough of Dark Mysteries, a mod expansion for Gothic 1. I do EVERY quest in the game, and always give timestamps with info of [NEW MOD CONTENT] in the description.

00:00 - 04:13 - I travel from the Swamp Camp back to the Old Camp
04:13 - 07:12 - I return Cor Kalom's recipe to Dexter, finishing his quest. I chat with some people in the camp
07:12 - 12:25 - I travel through the forest, fighting monsters, till I reach the Mine Camp (which I just now realize sounds kinda bad when I say it...)
[NEW MOD CONTENT] 12:25 - 13:48 - I arrive at the gates of the Mine Camp and talk about how it meshes very well with the vanilla game, for me at least
[NEW MOD CONTENT] 13:48 - 15:00 - I talk with the gate guard and enter the Mine Camp
[NEW MOD CONTENT] 15:00 - 15:55 - I talk with some diggers in a jail cage
[NEW MOD CONTENT] 15:55 - 20:05 - I talk with Wyzysk, the Camp's paymaster, whose name is, for some reason, left untranslated, which is a shame, because it's kinda a pun

[NEW MOD CONTENT] 22:12 - 31:15 - I go on a short excursion with one of the guards, fighting some scavengers. We find a mysterious cave, locked with a door
[NEW MOD CONTENT] 31:15 - 35:15 - I learn a cooking recipe for Scavenger Broth from one of the Shadows, Radi. I then get some salt for the recipe.
[NEW MOD CONTENT] 35:15 - 38:17 - I get my ass kicked because of a bug, so then I take my revenge to recover my currency
[NEW MOD CONTENT] 38:17 - 42:00 - I procure some meat for one of the diggers, earning some experiance in the process
[NEW MOD CONTENT] 42:00 - 44:28 - I talk with the Camp's smith, Sand, and accept a fetch quest from him
[NEW MOD CONTENT] 44:28 - 49:12 - I talk with some diggers, and give one of them some food
[NEW MOD CONTENT] 49:12 - 52:20 - I cook some Scavenger Broth for Radi, and get some pants in return
[NEW MOD CONTENT] 52:20 - 53:36 - I go visit the camp's training grounds, and the game crashes to desktop, which I take as a sign that I should take a break

Dark Mysteries are a mod expansion for Gothic 1 in the same vein the Night of the Raven is an expansion for Gothic 2 – the mod does not work as a standalone, nor does it replace the original storyline. Instead, it adds and expands UPON the original base, and it’s storyline is intertwined with the vanilla storyline, requiring you to do both and linking both in various ways.

It adds hundreds of new quests, dozen of new characters and thousands of new lines of dialogue. Among it’s most impressive features are the five new camps that you can join.
