GUG is a roguelike creature battler which mods its own functionality. Build your team, counter your foes' strengths, and evolve game-breaking powers defined by any word you choose!
Demo Scope
In the GUG demo you are limited to a set number of encounters per each playthrough, including less encounter variety and shorter playthrough lengths. Don't worry though, there's no limit on the number of gugs you can create!
Transcend
Unique gug creation: Each gug is procedurally generated from a single word you type. Even the devs don't know what's going to happen each time you forge!
Fight
Unexpected threats: Battle gugs from previous runs and other players. Innovate to counter your own creations!
Go Wild
Break the game: Seek out the weirdest gugs. Combo together different gugs to achieve the ultimate effect!
I am a huge fan of creative games and GUG is definitely one of them! Use all the words you can come up with to evolve your GUG (cute/terrifying creatures based on your liking :D) and make game-breaking combos, have fun and discover many new and untested outcomes of the so-called GUG evolution!
I had a blast with the demo version of GUG and I have to say this game has a big potential!
