17Time for the ever-desired "good attempt"! In many ways it acts a lot like a roguelike: very rough starts, at the mercy of the RNG, position-based tactics to tide you over. There are definitely some pieces of the game that end up giving you a little too much of an advantage, and there's also a "bonus creep" that turns you into a veritable machine of death. Nothing a couple of balance updates couldn't solve!
This is the first of a huge three-parter I played all at the same time. Even though it ends in such a way that I could stop, I still want to test the waters of the other quests. They all seem to be very different from each other, standing out even from typical roguelikes in that your strategy (and, consequently, class advantage) changes a lot depending on which "dungeon" you choose. I think that's where the real replayability kicks in.
