What I am going to do is play all of the Halo games according to the story's internal chronology rather than the order in which they were released. This means that we continue with the eighth and final game -- according to story order -- Halo: Infinite.
You might notice that we skipped Halo 5. That's because it was only ever released on console, and while I do own it, I cannot record game play from my XBOX at this time.

Halo: Infinite is a direct sequel to Halo 5: Guardians and the sixth title in the series overall, developed by 343 Industries and published by Xbox Game Studios. First announced at E3 2018 at Microsoft's press briefing by showing it will use a proprietary engine dubbed "Slipspace", the game's campaign mode was released on December 8, 2021 on Microsoft Windows, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S, while the beta multiplayer mode became free-to-play on all platforms in November 15, 2021; all progress, however, carried over to its official release alongside the campaign.
