It's bad enough that I have to deal with winter in real life but now I have to deal with it in Halo too. Master Chief has to break out the snow suit and studded tires to get through the next wave of Covenant defenses. Who would have thought that a floating ring in space that also doubles as a superweapon would also have seasons? Okay, okay, Starkiller Base but that started life as a planet. The Death Star didn't have seasonal weather.

Halo: Combat Evolved is a first-person shooter that was released in 2001 for the Xbox with a Windows PC port released in 2003. It was re-released on its 10th anniversary as Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary for the Xbox 360 and as part of the Halo: Master Chief Collection for the Xbox One and Windows PC in 2014. The original Halo was developed by Bungie with the re-releases developed by 343 Industries. All games were published by Microsoft Game Studios (later named Xbox Game Studios). This let's play is using the Halo: The Master Chief Collection version of the game.

Halo: Combat Evolved is the first of 15 games in the Halo franchise. Halo CE is the first of five games in the main franchise with ten more spin-offs that include more first-person shooters, twin-stick shooters and real-time strategy games.

In Halo, the United Nations Space Command ship Pillar of Autumn is attacked by the Covenant after a hasty escape by going to lightspeed. Stranded on a strange Halo in space, the UNSC forces must do battle against the Covenant led by Master Chief Petty Officer John-117 and his AI companion Cortana. However, the Halo holds many secrets that will turn the original conflict on its head.
