9About damn time Krile showed up. Still would like to know exactly when she woke up from her little coma and was well enough to start meandering around Eorzea.
I can understand why Krile never told Alphinaud she had the Echo while the two of them were in school; it's not like it was important for him to know that back then. What I question is why this remained a secret, and that Minfilia never told them (or at least, Alphinaud wasn't in the know).
The Students of Baldesion, who apparently we find out were studying Hydaelyn's gifts, were allies of the Scions anyway, so why in the HELL was this info never made privy to him? There is an entire plot point in 2.1 about contacting them about researching the Ascians, to find their HQ is gone, and it's mentioned several times after. Any "precautions" Krile felt needed to be taken to kept her gift a secret should have gone out the window the moment he became a Scion, or ESPECIALLY after we find out Krile survived the incident, owing it to the very gift she kept secret; the same blessing that previously shielded us from Ultima. And we didn't kept THAT incident a secret either, because it's a plot point in the VERY NEXT PATCH.
