Let's Play HMS Marulken - Patrols 2 & 3
The infamous #camerman incident.
HMS Marulken is the world's first submarine crew simulator that is both multiplayer and multi-sub. Crews of up to four players can man a submarine in an alternate WWII history where Sweden undertakes a clandestine submarine campaign against the Germans.
Where it gets interesting is that you and your crew are responsible for almost every function on the sub. Almost nothing is automated. If you want to change course, your helmsman has to manually turn the rudder. Want to dive? Someone's going to have to flood the tanks (but not too much!). Sonar sweeps and radio decryption are done entirely by a player, too.
Myself and several other friends streamed this on June 18th with the assistance of Captain Maxzim, who hosted the server after the first round and provided a ton of technical expertise and insight into the development of the game. He also has some footage on his channel at https://www.youtube.com/user/myvidcam.
This game was being kickstarted, but on June 21, the developers announced that Neal Stephens over at Subsim would be helping with development costs and publishing! Read more at http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=226631
Please do remember that this is an early build of the game. Some features are yet to be included and there are some minor bugs. Even in its current state, I found this to be a hell of a lot of fun.
