16A bit more chaotic and crazy, but still not so bad. That is, until the enemy carrier shows up and launches an all out attack to make me pay for my transgressions! Thankfully our missing carrier shows up and we turn the tides. Sadly, I throw nearly all tactics out the window at that point and feed a bunch of veteran troops away. :(
I have been wanting to get my hands on an RTS game for quite some time to showcase here at the Phreak Show. I've covered a ton of stuff so far, but this has always eluded me. I think I made the perfect choice in my first endeavor into the RTS genre being my Let's Play Homeworld Deserts Of Kharak! I'll be doing my best to dust off my RTS skills as I dive into all that Homeworld Deserts Of Kharak has to offer. Growing up I played RTS games ALL the time, but as of late, far far less. Prepare to facepalm, laugh, spit drinks, and possibly wet yourselves as you join me on this epic journey through Homeworld Deserts Of Kharak!

What Is Homeworld Deserts Of Kharak?
Homeworld Deserts Of Kharak is a ground based RTS prequel to the classic Epic Space Strategy games that redefined the RTS genre. You find an anomaly in the desert that may be the key to survival on the planet, and quite possibly beyond. However, things are never as easy as you would hope. You get to live the story of Rachel S'Jet as she leads the expedition to find the anomaly and save her people. Intuitive controls, fantastic voice acting, smooth overview map view to regular view transitions, and all you would expect for a top of the line RTS. This is my first showing of a RTS here at The Phreak Show and I'm really looking forward to this!
My thanks to BlackBird Interactive, Gearbox Software, and the wonderful PR firm, Evolve for getting Homeworld in my hands and allowing me to embark on the first RTS game covered here at the Phreak Show. I really like their system and hope more developers, publishers, and PR firms follow suit!
