INSIDE only offers one line of story background before the player is thrust into its gameplay and world: Hunted and alone, a boy finds himself drawn into the center of a dark project.
INSIDE is created by Playdead Studios, who is also known for their other title LIMBO. With its similar puzzle-platformer mechanics and initial presentation, INSIDE is known as a spiritual successor/sequel to LIMBO, although the two do not canonically have any relation.
INSIDE was released on Xbox One on June 29, 2016.
INSIDE PC version was released on July 7, 2016.
