Returning to the PlayStation 2 is like a dream come true, and flying uppercutting his way through that dream is Jak, the golden boy of PS2 era Naughty Dog.

This is it, the climactic final confrontation with Gol Acheron, the dark Sage, in his giant fighting robot! Too bad about that ending though.

Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy is Naughty Dog's second vie for the all-desirable (and never quite claimed) position of Sony Mascot. This perfect version of a 3D platformer (dare I say it, rivaling even Banjo-Kazooie) was a golden experience in my childhood. Following Jak and Daxter on their journey to meet Gol, the sage of Dark Eco, to restore Daxter to his former...form...this 2001 Action Platformer sees the eponymous duo cross a vast continent of lush environments solving puzzles, meeting locals and interacting with some wildlife. Here's hoping this time I can get 100% of the game completed! That's the goal!
