Taking the old BZone power elevator to the top, Jak and Daxter fought their way across and eavesdrop the Baron, Erol and the leader of the metal heads at the Palace, the metal head leader was getting impatient and told the Baron to give the eco to him soon or the deal is thwarted and the city suffers.
Erol wants to attack the nest now. And end it, but the Baron warned that nobody was able to attack the nest and succeed and he holds his cyborg eye to show that he failed to do so years ago. The Baron then said that he wants his plan to continue and told Erol to up Ashelin's patrols and locate Mar's Tomb as soon as possible.
Jak and Daxter learn that Erol has a crush on the mechanic and Ashelin is the Baron's daughter by eavesdropping.
Daxter suddenly sneezes and almost gets him and Jak in trouble.
The Baron suddenly catches the duo on the Palace ground and tries to destroy them for all they did to him so far.
The first boss fight with the Baron commences at the Palace.
One death in the fight after a cheap attack by Baron while trying to heal at the last phase.
Corrected on second try against him though.
The part ends after the Baron's first defeat by Jak.
Having dark Jak ready could have made the fight easily won.
