Only 10 months after first discovering Psychosis' incredibly obscure Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne game through an Anime-themed demo disc I found on the flea market at the time, we now have the sequel that was unexpectedly made out of nowhere despite having been only released in PAL as stated before.

BUT, upon looking at it, IT IS A WRESTLING GAME?!!!!! o_O

Yep! A former Maho Shojo-style Stealth game turned wrestling game trying to challenge against THQ's popular WWF/WWE Smackdown series, especially WWF Smackdown 2 which was already the best WWF game on the PolyStation by default despite the obviously poorly programmed menus and annoying battle meters and load screens during the game's season mode, and even the N64's already highly-beloved WWF No Mercy. And according to the game's end screen, it was released only shortly before WWF Smackdown: Just Bring It came out on the PolyStation 2, which ultimately blew this game out of the water in terms of features and graphical enhancements over WWF Smackdown 2 that was released on the PolyStation a year before. Yet IT did introduce a mechanic that was only even before WWF Smackdown: Just Bring It was released! And you're gotta see here.

Now, in terms of the original game's blatant image change done by the original creators at Psychosis of Rascal, Psybadek and Retro Force infamy with the help of its developer Visual Sciences of Formula 1 98 infamy, as well as the blatant image changes of the two main protagonists from the original game, Jeanne and Sinbad, also called Maron Kusakabe and Chiaki Nagoya according to the game's demo end screens, it was enough for fans of the original game, who according to the internet, were unsurprisingly its target audience of (pretty) girls who were already fixated towards things like Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts, Zelda and Pokémon, to become enraged and furious over Psychosis' blatant decisions over its sequel on a very deadly scale, as they ultimately trashed, and even worse, boycotted this game to the ultimate abyss, calling it one of the worst sequels ever made to a game, they still call AMAZING, and also one of the worst games they have ever played in their whole lives.

But as for men however, who apparently hated the original game for being "too girly" or "FFVII-like", it is something that they thought was good or just OK, depending on their taste and thoughts towards Wrestling and the WWE in general.

In this video, you'll see me playing the demo of the sequel to one of the most obscure PolyStation games of all time, in where I also give out my personal thoughts on it after playing it.

I play the demo of the game through OPM UK's Wrestlemania X8 special demo disc released in a special issue, which has the game included as one of the three playable demos alongside the infamous WCW Nitro and the more polished WWF Smackdown, with its sequel also being included on there too, but is just a trailer video, that is also the same as it was on the Euro Demo 66. And much like Anime special demo disc I played the demo of the original KKJ on, I also found this demo disc on a flea market also for pretty cheap.

I also found out, that KKJ2 was the first KKJ game to be released in the US, except its title was changed to "Monday Night Power Wrestling", which is also the game's sub-title. And as you would expect, it has changes over the original PAL release that I will adress as soon as I'll obtain a copy of it very soon and do an in-depth review on it in the future.

Also, like the first game, this game was also released in Germany under the name "Jeanne, die Kamikaze-Diebin 2: Monday Night Power Wrestling".

And BTW, at the time of this video, this game was released only 15 years ago, as it was released on, according to the game's demo end screen, on August 27th, 2001!
