PS2 - Shadow Man: 2econd Coming - Unused Bad Ending Sound Clip *SPOILERS!*
17*SPOILER WARNING!* If you have not completed this game yet, plz do not watch this and look away immediately!
This is the sound clip for the unused Bad Ending of Shadow Man: 2econd Coming, that would have been shown if you were defeated by Asmodeus in the final battle, much like how it was when you were defeated by Legion in the first game, rather than just die once and then respawn back instantly via your teddy bear that you keep for the final battle for restocking purposes. This pretty much shows that the game was rushed out the door, where they cut this scene out from the final version of the game for no reason whatsoever, unless any of the people who worked on it, including Mr. Tim Haywood himself can perfectly explain this to us fans of the game of how this got removed in the last second before the game was printed, and then shipped to retailers. I can only guess it must have been of budgetary cuts, obviously because of Acclaim themselves being in obvious financial trouble at the time of this game's release, or there must have been some reason as to why this got cut.
It is really no surprise of why this game flopped because it was not only inferior to its predecessor in several departments, but also for the fact that it was also rushed as a result of the decision to cut this scene out in the last minute.
As you can already see by the thumbnail, I cannot access the supposed footage to this cutscene, as it is blank. Perhaps someone with supreme hacking skills could somehow gain access to this unused clip and make this public for fans of the game like me to see.
And before you ask, how I extracted this from the game, I used a program called ADPCM Player v1.44h, which I used to extract the sound clips from the game, using the number 3000 as the Interleave. Usually, I only wanted to extract the sound effects from the zombies and thugs from the game that I wanted to use for fun, until I somehow stumbled across this and wanted to show this to the many fans of the game for curiosity purposes.
