Ok, I finally got a question about how to solve the treasure room. This is a much longer, much more convoluted pattern than the treasure room in the NES game, so I'll do my best to explain it.

Let's try to visualize the way the room is laid out, in roughly the way I laid it out for the explanation of the NES version.

The jars are laid out somewhat like this:

6............7............8


What you'll want to do is break 4 and 7 first, and then see what you've got...two hearts, two hammers, or a heart and a hammer (and then it matters which one is at 4 and which one is at 7).

If you got two hearts, then the God of Poverty will either be in 2 or 3, so pick one to save for last and hope you get lucky.

If you got two hammers, the God of Poverty is in 8, so no guessing required, just save it for last.

Now, if you got one of each.....

If the top one is a heart, The God of Poverty is in 5, so no guessing required, just shoot that one last.

If the top one is a hammer, then the next one you shoot will be 5, and again see if you uncover a heart or a hammer. If you uncover a heart, the God of Poverty is in 1 or 8, so pick one and save it for last, and hope you're lucky. If you uncover a hammer, the God of Poverty is in 2 or 6, so pick one and save it for last, and hope you're lucky.
