This is it everyone. The final boss of the main storyline, Maribel Hearn.

Maribel Hearn (Final Boss):
Being the 'final' battle, it will come to no surpise that there are multiple phases to this. She starts off by herself. Her speed is rather low, giving you plenty of time to prepare and pump damage into her. Every 500k damage you pump into her though, she will summon one minion until all three are summoned. Until all minions are summoned, Maribel and her minions cannot die no matter how overpowered you are.

Maribel starts with a variety of magical based and composite attacks including moves that are very similar to Yukari's. Her first summon, Shredding Amnesier, uses nothing but physical attacks and is vulnerable to magic and status effects while being immune to debuffs. Though its alls physical becareful of its instant death effects. The second, Aria-Singing Toruastory, uses nothing but magic based attacks and is immune to all status cept for poison and is vulnerable to debuffs (sound familiar yet?). The final minion, Staring Igmaruji, is immune to both status and debuffs (cept for poison) and uses utility attacks like status effects and debuffs. This is pretty much the same as the Alice fight from Floor 4. Oh and Maribel is resistant to debuffs and status but can still be effected by them (a final boss able to be paralyzed? a rare sight).

Keeping one paralyzed and the other debuffed while killing them is a good strategy for Alice and is the same for here. But, as you kill each one of them, Maribel gets faster and the minions will begin using more powerful attacks every several turns if they are the only minion left (every 15 turns cept for Toruastory which is every 8). Shredding knows Scourge which will one shot a member of your party. Toruastory will cast Strengthening Jutsu to increase his Magic and Igmaruji will start using Djinn Storm (better kill that one first).

Once all minions are down, Maribel will start using Overflowing Unnatural Power which will increase all her stats by 75%. You are now racing the clock to kill her before she shreds your party with her buffs and powers. She can also cast Djinn Storm if she is feeling particularly mean. Defeat her and thats it, you finished the main story of Labyrinth of Touhou.
