welcome to the post-mortem for leisure suit larry.
before i begin discussing this video, i'd like to publically thank kef schecter again for his allowing me to use the larry theme.
some answers to some questions about this video:
no, i'm not sure why my microphone was being a pain in the butt. yeah, i forgot to mention that the woman i drew a yellow square around is roberta williams. yeah, that picture of the softporn adventure box is cropped.
otherwise: i talk a little about the graphics and sound, and we explore the manual - which is fantastically cheap and sleazy. [just like the game.] i then talk about the cheat for getting past the questions and explain that you only start with a flat $94. something i was unaware of at the beginning of the playthrough. after that, we discuss how brutal these sorts of games were and how much you needed the guidance of the hint book - or the telephone hint line.
our parting look at leisure suit larry is of one of the cool death sequences - something i've never seen a game do before it or since. it's an easter egg that - again - i tried showing off early and failed at.
thank you for watching me play leisure suit larry. i very much appreciate it.
