Lollipop Chainsaw was developed by Kadokawa Games and Grasshopper Manufacture, and beginning 15 June 2012 was distributed by Warner Brothers Entertainment, Inc., for the XBox 360 and PS3 gaming consoles. We follow a day in the life of Juliet Starling, a just-turned-18-year-old who attends San Romero High School. Of course, this isn't just any day in the life: zombies have taken over her school, and it's up to her to save the day!
Players generally will use Y for high chainsaw attacks, X for pom-pom bashes, A for low attacks, and B for jumping. Like other fighting games, however, combinations of these yield different and often fun / funny results. Chop-2-Shop stores along the way let Juliet upgrade for more combinations, buy special accessories, and get needed health supplies. With crazy animations and a silly sense of humor, Lollipop Chainsaw delivers hours of laughs in the often far-too-serious genre of zombie apocalypse.
