Lords of the Realm 1 offers plenty of intrigue after the opening stanza -- and this episode is a good example. After being nearly entirely pushed from my Kingdom, my combined arms forces and mercenaries are pushing off the coast and to the west. The Knight is currently occupied with the Baron, so I may have caught him at just the right time? As for the Earl? He has a gigantic army just south of my borders. I don't know if I'm ready to take it on just yet.
