Let's Play M&B:W Prophesy of Pendor (Max difficulty*) - Part 21 - The Blitz p6
Welcome to Prophesy of Pendor, a mod that has previously beat me into the ground over, and over, and over, and OVER. It's time to change that. We're taking over Pendor.
The *asterisk denotes that my difficulty rating is set at 98% as opposed to 112%, the true "max difficulty". This is due to the fact that I have my 'battle size', the number that dictates how many units can be on the field during any battle at once, is set to 152. This number has a large influence on difficulty rating, but not much difference on the actual hardness of the gameplay. I have it set to this number because it is the absolute highest my computer can handle while recording.
So of course, this will be a long series. Each video will probably be quite long, as I can only record every once and a while in bursts.
I don't intend to do EVERYTHING I do with this character on screen, as that would get a little boring to watch. A lot of time in this game is spent carefully travelling to avoid parties that would wipe you, kiting special heroes, doing minor quests that provide little money and experience gain for renown and honour, etc.
Therefor I'm going to be doing everything major on screen FIRST, and once I've shown you we're able to do it, I'll do the excess grinding off screen. This will apply to things like money grinding tournaments, soloing easy parties early on for easy renown, and when I find myself in a bad situation and have to lose all my units.
So some general strategies I use for bad situations are retreating when surrounded by massive war parties and dropping any/all troops and heavy items I have on me to out-speed whatever wants me dead. This allows me to avoid being captured, which is useful. Being captured can result in anything from your gear being taken, or inventory.
I'll add to this description as I release more videos and get feedback. You can use the description of this video or any in this playlist as a general information board. I'll post whatever people seem to be asking about here, as well as anything I think you need to know.
Thank you all and enjoy!
