This is the "Control" ending. Includes my thoughts on this ending during the credits. Some things you might want to note:
- The slide with Jack is missing from the destroy ending; I don't know why (glitch?). Kahlee Sanders also makes a final appearance in this slide. Note that if you sent Jack's students to the front line, Jack is shown standing over their graves instead.
- There is also an extra slide with Miranda and Oriana, but this one shows the Reapers so it's not strange that it's not shown for destroy (though it is strange that destroy has no slide for Miranda at all).
- EDI can be seen coming out of the Normandy and on the right during the memorial wall scene; in the destroy ending she was not present, and her name was on the wall.
- Although the geth and quarians both appear, strangely they don't appear together (they do in synthesis, which you'll see tomorrow).
- It seems letting Kasumi keep Keiji's graybox may not have been the best idea.
- Zaeed has finally retired (we knew he wanted to from the ME2 Shadow Broker dossiers).
- The slide with Samara and Falere appears to be on Thessia (or some other asari world), not at the monastery.
- Tali puts Shepard's name on the wall, which she doesn't do in the destroy ending if Shepard survives.
- If your EMS is very low, not all options will be available on the Crucible. Destroy with Shepard surviving requires the highest EMS, and after that Synthesis is the last option to unlock. Whether destroy or control is the "default" available ending with low EMS depends on whether you destroyed or saved the Collector Base in ME2.
