Let's Play - Mega Man 4 - Gameboy - 01 - Sleep Deprived Blind Run - Toad Stopper
Blind running a Megaman game at 3am in the morning is never a good idea.
This is why the game sound is up a little too high. This is also why i'm having to subtitle.
Yes, I have never played through this Megaman game, and no, I don't know why. It's a shame too, because this is a good one.
I'll say this - this particular playthrough gets better, probably. The second half of it at least, as I wasn't playing on much sleep in the first recording set. The game is one of the better titles, Crystalman's hellhole of a stage aside. Despite being a rehash of Megaman 4 and 5, some of the new level gimmicks are.. really creative. More on that when we reach the latter levels.
The sheer stupidity of the player should make up for it though. Stage replays are edited out a fair bit if they're lengthy, that is, provided I remember to not say anything.
Toadman's stage isn't the best way to start off a LP, but it he IS the first boss to go for, if only to obtain Rush Coil. Toadman's weapon is really useful in this game as well, due to the lowered energy cost. It makes Brightman a cakewalk. (Not that I use it against Brightman.)
Speaking of Brightman's stage, it's alot easier in this than the NES version, which was hellish. There was still several stupid deaths in that level, most of which where the fault of poor reactions. As stated in the video - 3am plus Megaman = Fail.
This game is recorded - fully - any problems that arise will only be because of the subtitling process - which takes a while, because these are some long videos.
