Like all shield weapons, the Star Crash really leaves something to be desired. It's nice that it travels with you, but disappearing after one hit and leaving you wide open for damage really makes it hard to use.
This stage might be the most interesting gimmick in the game, with gravity stripes that reverse gravity at opportune and inopportune moments. A few jerk moments, like spikes that you almost need to know exist ahead of time, but overall a pretty easy stage with a boss that is tailor made to get pummeled with the shield weapon.
