Let's Play Mega Man 7: Showdown of Destiny! - Part 10 - Shade Man
0Shade Man is a Robot Master that I hate more than Slash Man that I'm willing to make an exception to use more than the buster on him. Slash Man is a Robot Master built to be like a vampire therefore as such he has the ability to drain your energy to refill his. He was originally an attraction robot for a haunted house of an amusement park, but was stolen and modified for combat by Dr. Wily. Wily installed sound wave equipment intended to control human minds, but due to a wiring error, it instead generated powerful destructive sound waves. Shade Man is not so bad once you get his pattern down, but once you slip up and he starts draining your health, it's up the ass with a sharp pineapple for him. The Super Adaptor's Upgraded Rocket Punch knocks out a good chunk of his health. Along the way, we get the Energy Balancer and find Bass who also had a run in with Shade Man. He's heavily injured so Mega Man sends him to Dr. Light for repairs. After the Robot Masters are finally defeated, Mega returns home to find the lab in ruins and Dr. Light in a state of shock. After Bass was repaired, he destroyed the lab and stole a copy of the Super Adaptor upgrade. Wily appears on Dr. Light's computer screen to reveal that Bass was made by him. The transmission betrays the location of Wily's new fortress and Mega Man vows revenge. Before we go after him, we need to pay a visit to an old friend.
