0After finishing off the four Robot Masters that broke Wily out of prison, Mega Man returns home. He still can't get Bass out of his head, this new combat robot that appeared out of nowhere. He asks Dr. Light about him and he assumes he's an ally and not a major threat. Suddenly a news bulletin appears on Dr. Light's computer. There's an attack on the Robot Museum in progress so Mega Man goes off to stop it. The Robot Museum is home to many exhibits containing Robot Masters that Mega Man has fought over the years. Mega Man arrives in time to find Wily stealing Guts Man. Why? Well it's evident throughout the series that he's had quite an admiration for the muscular Robot Master. He's revived him a few times, made gold statues of his likeness throughout one fortress, and built an entire giant dozer tank in his likeness to guard another fortress. As Wily escapes with his prize, he sends down a playmate for Mega Man, a bulky jester robot called Mash. Mash may look intimidating, but if you knock his head off with Thunder Bolt then attack it with Danger Wrap, he's not so bad. Once Mash is destroyed, Mega Man returns home again where Dr. Light informs him that Wily has unleashed a second wave of Robot Masters.
