Let's Play - Megaman X8 - 12 - This level is more annoying than it looks.
Managed to find time to record another stage in X8. I've also brought the rest of the Health Up items from the shop, (and a few of X's items.) which is why my health bars are at max. These were perchased whilst grinding for metals, so they weren't recorded.
I'm amazed I beat the stage without practicing so easily, and only died once. (That is, on the stage portion anyway.) this is actually one of the most irritating levels in the entire game, (I'll be taking on the REALLY irritating one last.) and is harder than it looks.
Also, that is some terrible Draw Distance. I thought this was originally a PS2 game, not a PS1 game. :/
I guess the engine really wasn't optimized for the bike stages at all. Which really boggles the mind why they chose to make two behind the view bike stages for an engine that clearly wasn't built for them.
This is also, in my opinion, the ugliest stage in the game. It looks really dull, and repeats landmarks often.
The only memorable thing about this stage is the mini-boss, and that's for the wrong reasons. That thing is not easy.
Sidenote: As far as I'm aware going into the caverns is the easiest route in the second portion of the stage.
Ironically, this is one of the few stages were you don't want to take Axl (Didn't take him for Gigavolt's level just to give Zero some play time.), for the simple reason that you need X and Zero to pick up both of the stages items. Which will be in the next video.
