Come join space bounty hunter Samus Aran as he infiltrates the space pirate fortress on Planet Zebes on a mission to destroy the Metroids being breed by the space pirates for evil. Along the way, Samus must also destroy the pirate’s leader, the Mother Brain, and her two chief lieutenants, Kraid and Ridley. It will take a lot of skill and plenty of power ups to do so, so follow along this play through which will collect all items and defeat all the bosses.
In this episode Samus faces both of Mother Brain’s chief lieutenants, Ridley and Kraid. First up, the more popular Ridley, a fire breathing dragon. Afterwards it is almost back to the beginning of the game to the entrance to Hideout 1, the lair of the dinosaur-like Kraid. Defeating both of these minions is necessary to reach Mother Brain’s lair in Tourian and comes with the nice bonus of giving Samus more missiles than he gets from all the missile packs in the game: 150 vs. 105 respectively.
