Ok, I understand that you need protection from the stupidly dangerous things that inhabit this area but like...what and why? Wouldn't robots be the smart option, why the would you get these giant robot spider drones, like how would they even stop the monsters? Again, I felt like these scientist didn't think this stuff all the way through.
