Let's Play Metroid II: Return of Samus (BLIND) Part VI: Suits Boots and Beams
STILL A BLIND LP STILL DON'T SPOIL STILL USING THE SHIFT KEY!
The game continues to impress me. If you think about it. there are only a few things left in Super Metroid that this game didn't have... Well in terms of powerups anyway.
For the record here is my analysis on the beams.
Power Beam (the starting beam): Why are you still using the power beam at this point in the game?
Ice Beam: The weakest of the upgraded beams in terms of damage, but freezes enemies.
Wave Beam: Travels in a wave like pattern, meaning it is easier to hit with, somewhat and does extra damage. Also penetrates armour and hits the soft inside of enemies.
Spazer: A wide beam (obviously) that does a TON of damage, but is not a penetrating weapon.
At this point I wonder if we will see the final staple beam in this game, the all powerful Plasma Beam. If it's here my guess is it won't be wide but it will do absurd amounts of extra damage. It might also pierce enemies. (I doubt the charge beam is in the game at this point)
I think I said this in the video but the Spazer is basically the Wide Beam in Super Metroid.
The reason for the abrupt ending is the rest of the video corrupted. I still have the audio, and you basically missed me getting the thing I was trying to get and going to save.
