Going through the Bryyo Fire area next. Lots of Fuel Gel around here,so be careful not to fall into it. At one point you'll need to use Phazon to proceed,and the suit ends up overloading. If this happens,you must vent it by expelling all the Phazon in Hyper Mode. After a battle with some Warp Hounds and a puzzle area,you'll soon reach a Fuel Gel pool,and a Save Station nearby. You'll soon have to fight off a horde of Space Pirates in a battle arena,so be ready. Rundas eventually shows up and deals with the stragglers,but unfortunately he's not himself anymore. he's been possessed by Dark Samus,and must be put down. You must first destroy his ice armor shielding him from damage,then yank it off to start hurting him directly. I suggest going into Hyper Mode and unleashing a Phazon volley,just be wary of your HP throughout the fight. He can fire ice projectiles at you,and toss huge ice spears as well. He'll skate around the battlefield using his ice power,and can even freeze Missiles locked on to him! He shouldn't be too difficult though. Once defeated,Dark Samus absorbs his corpse and flies off. You get Ice Missiles for winning. Rundas's theme is also my favorite music track from this game.
