Lets Play Minecraft Hardcore Mode - Efe - Part 5
1In this 5th episode I try to find my way back to my house nearby my spawningpoint. At one point I thought I never find it again but luckily I did and I finished my house while also having an enderman as a roommate again but as long as I didn't bother him he wouldn't harm me either, and after a while he just left. He left me a little farwellgift in the shape of a dirtblock though which was much better then having to fight him.
Also I try to make it more clear what my gamerules are in this game. I only use each material once to build a house so for example I only use cubblestone once for a house but if that house is connected by a bridge or tunnel to another house I may still use cubblestone there as well. Things like doors, windows, steps and walls don't count. Its just about the basic material for the walls of the house that has to be a certain material. Also things like bricks which are processed by cubblestone for example is counted as a new kind of material again.
The reason I came up with this gamerule is to avoid always building the same structures made of cubblestone which is kinda boring. But since some of my houses are quite closely build to eachother I thought it would be good to make the exception in case they are connected by a tunnel or bridge else I would really run out of material choices quickly if I truely make each house, tower or other building build out of a seperate material.
If I make it far enough in this game I will execute some more plans I have because I still have a lot of expansion plans like renovating my little hobbithole that I build at the start of the game. At the time I build it to be safe from monsters but now I want to turn it into a cubblestone tower since its technically connected to my house by a tunnel, I could use that same material again according to my new game rule. Also I want to make some bridges connecting my house to nearby watchtowers which I still have to build.
Anyway still a lot to do but next time will be an even episode again so then I will take a bit more risk although this episode with finding my way back home could have counted as one but yea next time I probably clear out some caves nearby or just do some more exploring in general. Not too far this time though else I won't find my way back again.
