Seriously, what could the first ruin have possibly been outside of a slaughter house? It's the only explanation for the giant knives of OH DEAR GOD MY HIT POINTS, the dark stones of endless frost spells, and the grating one could hang meat on that swings from side to side. Did people live in these ruins? Were they the factories? The hell ARE these ancient ruins I keep looting - that have modern currently in them I might add?
