Offensive, tag-lined "The Ultimate Strategical Command Game", is a World War II real-time tactics game developed by Wave Software and published by Ocean Software. It was originally released in 1996 for MS-DOS.

The game features two campaigns with 20 mission each - one for the Allies and one for Germany. All missions focus on the Western Front starting with Operation Overlord and ending with the crossing of the Rhine.

Offensive features more than a dozen different units ranging from infantry to tanks, support powers in the form of naval bombardments and airstrikes. Players need to manage their troops morale, health, and armour, all of which can be restored via supplies found on the maps.

Despite being one of the few real-time tactics games set in World War II - a setting dominated by turn-based games - Offensive received mediocre to negative reception, and was criticised for its clunky controls, lack of supposed realism, dated visuals, and major design flaws such as the use of passwords instead of a save system.

At one point, Offensive was likely supposed to feature battles from numerous time periods, as is evident by its full motion video intro as well as its description on the back of the box, which alludes to historical battles and mentions "Hittite archers" being featured in-game.
