OpenRA is a free program (still under development) which allows us to play the classic C&C and Dune games from the past.

The program can be downloaded at http://www.openra.net

Right now, Tiberian Dawn and Red Alert 1 is available to play for some of the story missions and online multiplayer. This is also the only program that lets you play a skirmish round with AI playing in Tiberian dawn game.

Various changes were made to the games to balance out and make the game more fun than it was ever was before, which includes ideas from RTS games that were released after these C&C titles.

Part 2 is all about the Brotherhood of Nod, the sneaky terrorist group that focuses more on stealth tactics and guerrilla warfare rather than brute force.
